摘  要:以认知心理学和词汇学的理论为指导,借鉴柯林斯等五大英语学习词典的举例模式,以《高级职业英语读写教程》为例,分析现行英语学习教程中词汇表模式的局限性,并进行增设词块举例的尝试。问卷调查结果发现,有词块举例的词汇表比没有任何用法举例的词汇表更有利于词汇的记忆、运用和语篇的理解。Referring to the modes of listing examples of five English learning dictionaries,such as Collins Dictionary,the limits of the modes of vocabulary list in Advanced Career English Reading and Writing are analyzed under the guidance of cognitive psychology and lexicology theories,and the attempt of adding lexical chunks as examples to the textbook vocabulary lists is proposed. The result of the questionnaire shows that vocabulary lists with lexical chunks are more helpful in memorizing and using vocabulary as well as in understanding the related context than vocabulary lists without any examples.
