Objective To determine emergency management knowledge among college students in Heilongjiang province. Methods A questionnaire survey was conducted with a cluster random sampling method in seven universities in Heilongjiang province. Medical students had higher scores( 0.80±0.11) than those non-medical students( less than 0.7).Age,gender and practices played important roles in public awareness on emergency management( P 〈 0.05). Nationality( P = 0. 121) and residence( P =0.089) had no effects on emergency management knowledge.
