摘 要:本研究采用问卷调查方式对4个省6所高校的588名中国非英语专业大学生的英语学习焦虑程度及其使用的焦虑自我调节策略进行研究。结果发现,英语学习焦虑情绪在大学生中普遍存在;大学生在英语学习中主要使用自我效能提升、逃避问题、解决问题和转移注意力等4种自我调节策略。学生对这些策略的使用频率总体上达到中等水平,但不同焦虑程度和不同性别的学习者在这些策略的使用上存在明显差异。This paper reports an investigation into Chinese college students' English learning anxiety and their use of strategies to selfregulate their anxiety. Participants are 588 non-English major undergraduates from 6 universities in 4 provinces. Data are collected by means of two questionnaires,including an English Learning Anxiety Scale and an English Learning Anxiety Self-regulation Strategies Scale. The results show that English learning anxiety exists among college students. An exploratory factor analysis has yielded four types of self-regulation strategies,which include self-efficacy enhancement,escaping problems,solving problems,and diverting attention. The results show that the four strategies are used with medium frequency as a whole,while significant differences are found in using the strategies among students with different levels of English learning anxiety and between female and male students.
