摘　　要：耆那教和佛教是印度历史悠久的两个宗教派别。在漫长的发展历程中,两教的关系表现为有很多相似相通之处:两教产生于相似的社会背景;教义有很多相通之点。两教的关系还表现为教团之间激烈的竞争和相互评价。激烈竞争的原因既是因为两教要争夺发展空间和资源,也因为两教还有很多观点截然不同。Jainism and Buddhism are religions with a long history in India. These two religions shared some similarities during the long course of development ： arising in the same social background and having some doctrines in common. The relationship between two religions is filled with competition and mutual evaluation. The reasons for their intense competition are as follows： the two religions had to fight for the development space and the resources, furthermore, the two religions had some entirely different opinions.
