摘　　要：通过对比和评析海明威短篇小说《大双心河》两种译本的翻译实例,可以看出外国文学作品的翻译对于译者的要求非常高,译者不仅要精通源语和译入语,通晓作品的语言特点和写作风格,还要对译入语有娴熟的语言驾驭能力,确保译文流畅自然,易于读者接受。The translation of foreign literary works has a high demand for translators. The translators must be proficient in source language and target language, know well about language characteristics and writing style of the works and also have the ability to control the language of the target language to ensure smooth and natural version for readers. The paper contrasts and discusses some specific examples in two versions of Big Two- Hearted River by Hemingway and explores some issues worthy of attention and some translation methods in the translation of foreign literary works.
