赛珍珠《水浒传》英译本译者主体性探析

摘　　要：翻译是通过译者的主体性传递原文的意义。在译者主体性和主流的文化诗学融合下,译者的主体意识操纵和改写了原文在译文中的形象。赛珍珠作为女性译者主体在翻译《水浒传》过程中,对原文女性形象进行了不同的解读,体现了译者主体性在协调女性译者和男权主流文化背景之间的矛盾所起的作用。Translation itself is to transmit the meaning of the original text through the translator＇s subjectivity.Under the joint influence of translator＇s subjectivity and the mainstream cultural poetics,translator＇s subjective consciousness manipulates and rewrites in his/her translation the image constructed by the original text.With her subjectivity of a female translator,Pearl S.Buck interprets the female images in a different way when translating the Chinese classic Outlaws of the Marsh（Shui Hu Zhuan）,which demonstrates the role the translator＇s subjectivity plays in reconciling the conflict between the female translator and the mainstream background of a male-dominated culture.
