从语言运用层面提高农业科技论文报道性摘要的英译

摘　　要：是科技论文的必要组成部分,是科研工作者赢得国际学界认可的重要途径。从语言运用层面考察农业科技论文报道性摘要的四要素(研究目的、研究方法、研究结果和研究结论),旨在为农业科研工作者译写高质量的英文摘要提供基本思路框架和句型。从文献回顾和实例研究出发,分析报道性摘要各要素的语言运用特征,归纳各要素英译的基本句型和语言运用技巧,强调摘要英译中的常见问题,总结出报道性摘要的英译应用词准确,适用语态选择恰当,时态前后一致,比较对象对等且句间逻辑关系清晰。An abstract is an essential part of a scientific paper, and abstract translation from Chinese to English is both an aca- demic requirement and a way for inviting attention from international research peers. This paper, from a perspective of language usage, discusses the C-E translation of informative abstract, which is the most common form adopted in agricultural scientific papers. Based on research reviews and case study, the author clarified the framework of trans- lation according to the four elements of informative abstract, including objective, method, result and conclusion, an- alyzed the language use techniques in translation of each element, and summarized frequently used sentence struc- tures. In conclusion, the author pointed out that accurate specialized vocabulary, tense agreement, applicable voice, equivalent comparative objects and clear logic are keys in C-E translation of informative abstracts.
