摘　　要：约翰·杜威的实用主义教育理论源自于实用主义哲学,强调生活和经验是教育的灵魂。他提出的"教育即生长","教育即生活","教育即经验的不断改造"三个观点,对我国基础教育改革有着重要的启示,在学生为中心的教学观、学生的个性发展、学生的自学能力等方面发挥着积极作用。John Dewey＇s education theory of Pragmatism is from the philosophy of pragmatism which emphasizethat the life and experience is the soul of education. The three point of view he proposed that ＂education is growth＂,＂education is life＂, ＂continuous improvement＂ has the important enlightenment to the reform of basic education inchina. And also play an active role in the student centered teaching concept, personality development of studentsand students self-study ability.
