摘　　要：空白可以参与艺术美的创造,并有其独特的作用。在文学作品中,空白是作者展开思路的着意经营,是唤起读者想象的感应条件,是衡量作品艺术水准的重要尺度。它的运用也有它固定的辩论法。运用在作品中间——此时无声胜有声,运用在作品结尾——言已尽而意无穷。Blank can be used with other factors to create beauty in the arts and plays a unique role in the creation. In literary works,the blank is the result of the author＇s careful design; it is regarded not only as the induction condition to arouse the reader＇s imagination but also as an important dimension to measure the artistic level.The use of the blank has it fixed ways and effects： in the middle of the composition —— silence is sometimes more significant that words,and in the concluding sentence —— limited words lead up to meaningful afterthoughts.
