摘　　要：随着我国融入全球商务大环境的进程不断加快,普通英语无法继续满足经济全球化对语言的需求,传统英语专业正朝着多元化的趋势发展。商务英语教师正是在此背景下出现的一个新兴且日益壮大的师资群体。但目前大部分高校的商务英语教师都缺乏必要的商务知识背景,正面临身份转型出现的身份认同危机与身份重构等困境。身份理论的发展及相关问题的研究对商务英语教师成功建构多维身份、实现专业发展、提升职业素养具有重要的作用。As the process of China＇ s integration into the global business environment has speeded up, general English cannot continue to meet the demand of economic globalization on language, English is developing towards a diversified trend. Business English teachers are an emerging and growing teacher group who appear in such social background. But the vast majority of the cur- rent college business English teachers lack necessary business knowledge background, so they are facing the dilemma of identity cri- sis and identity reconstruction during the process of identity transformation. Identity theory and the relayed study practice has impor- tant significance for business English teachers to enhance their occupational accomplishment and realize their own professional devel- opment.
