摘　　要：中国以至全球的发展日益将对人的生活及生存状态的考量提到了核心议程,但当代社会发展对生活理论的需要与生活概念的不成熟性之间形成巨大反差,人们往往在未经反思的前提下使用着并不确切和不完整的生活概念,因此"生活是什么"的问题成为待解的重大课题。中国学术的话语权的重要体现是对重大范畴概念的定义能力上。本研究在突破西方研究范式的基础上从生命、活动、社会性三个向度揭示了整体的生活概念的内在规定性,认为生活是由个体所承载的人的特有生命形态的社会性存在、展开、实现形式及意义追寻的行动体系,构成了一切社会事物的本源和本体。文中还在同日常生活、日常性概念的比较中进一步揭示了生活概念的整体结构和特性,论述了生活范畴在构建中国特色社会主义理论体系中的基石性概念地位、在全面建设小康社会中的学理支持作用以及在社会科学研究中的范式创新意义。oday,all over the world focuses on life and living condition during the development process.This means social development needs clear definition of life.But obviously this need hasn’t been met.So,what is life becomes an important question that should be answered clearly and urgent-ly.This paper try to answer above question from three aspects：physical life,action and social charac-ter：life is the form of existing,expanding and carrying out of special social character that carry by people’s physical life and the behavior system for meaning detecting.Life is the source of all social ex-ists.In this paper,the different between life,normal life,and daily character is also analyzed.How important the definition of life is for establishing a theoretical system of political economy with Chi-nese characteristics and well-off society also has been pointed out in this paper.
