摘　　要：宁波文物古迹对提升城市国际形象极为重要,更具学术价值,但其译介问题颇多。巴斯内特文化翻译理论无疑为我们提供了具有高度且贴切的视角:宁波古建筑的译介已不仅是微观的文本翻译问题,更应提升到文化输出与交流的战略高度;以此为方针,其译介应在文化功能对等基础上,追求源语文化在目的语文化中的植入和融合;译者在翻译过程中,从读者期待,到翻译目的、策略、技巧选择等方面,都应将文化(输出)因素纳入考量的范畴。The long and splendid history of architectural culture in Ningbo plays a substantially important role in raising its international profile, and the value of the ancient buildings can not be neglected in terms of architecture, aesthetics, history, archaeology and cultural studies. However, the current situation of cultural translation in Ningbo is not optimistic. Susan Bassnett＇s cultural translation theories enlighten translators to review this issue in a much deeper and more appropriate way. The cultural translation of ancient architecture in Ningbo is more than text conversion from a micro perspective. Instead, it should be regarded as a strategy of cultural export and communication. Therefore, translators should pursue the equivalence of cultural function between the source language and the target language, as well as the implantation and integration of the source culture into the target culture. During translation, the factor of cultural export should be taken into account in the aspects such as readers＇ expectation, purpose of translation, translation strategies and selection of translation skills.
