摘 要:研究采用质性与量性相结合的研究方法,对湖南省内的三所高校的英语专业与非英语专业共250名大二学生进行了调查分析,重在探讨两者在自主学习能力方面是否存在差异,在哪些方面存在差异,并从中找出差异的原因。结果表明,在课堂自主学习能力方面,英语专业与非英语专业大学生在课堂的监控与评估能力维度上存在显著差异,而在对教师教学目标与任务的理解能力和课堂参与能力的维度上不存在差异。在课外自主学习能力方面,英语专业与非英语专业大学生在确定学习目标与制定学习计划的能力、有效运用学习策略的能力、自我监控学习进度的能力以及评估与反思学习效果的能力维度上都存在差异,只在做具体的学习准备能力维度上不存在差异。In this study, the writers mainly adopt quantitative and qualitative research methods. 250 sophomores of English majors and non- English majors from three universities in Hunan Province are investigated and analyzed. The analysts majorly discusses whether there are some differences between English majors and non-English majors in terms of autonomous learning abilities and where the differences exist as well as reasons of differences. The research results indicate that, in terms of classroom autonomous learning abilities, no obvious difference is discovered in the abilities to understand the teaching objectives and tasks and participate in the classes; there exists a noticeable difference in the class monitoring and evaluation between two groups of subjects. In the aspect of out-of class autonomous learning abilities, there are some significant differences in the abilities to set leaming goals and make learning plans, to use learning stratesies effectively, to monitor his or her own learning process and to evaluate and reflect their learning effects between two groups of students; no significant difference is found in the ability to make specific learning preparation between students of English and non English majors.
