摘　　要：宇文所安的《中国文论:英译与评论》,为我们提供了思考中国文学传统的新视点和新方法。而其中所显示的中西论述的差异,也给了我们一次反观自身独特传统的机会。宇文所安对《二十四诗品》的解说论述方式上直论与注释结合、体悟精深入微,但宇文所安解说《二十四诗品》存在明显理解上的差异和偏离。中西阐释的差异原因在于中西文化的不同。通过对比,可以不断审视我们自身文学和文化传统的独特性,进一步认识自我与他者的优缺点。Stephen Owen＇s “Chinese Literary Theory： English Translation with Criticism” has provided us a new perspective and method to review the Chinese literary tradition. The discussions of the differences between China and the West also allow us to reflect on our own tradition. This paper discusses Stephen Owen＇s arguments from four aspects： the way he explains, his profound understandings, the comprehension deviations and the differences between the Chinese and western explanations. The comparison equips us with a better understanding of the uniqueness of our own traditional literary theory in cross-cultural communication.
