美国麻省公立高等教育系统探微

摘　　要：作为美国高等教育传统最为悠久的州之一,麻省素以其发达的私立高等教育闻名于世,但她的公立高等教育却较少为人所关注。事实上,由于科学的办学目标和合理的办学定位的确立,麻省公立高等教育在服务地方经济社会发展方面取得了令人瞩目的成就,它与麻省的私立高等教育一起共同构建起了一个优质的高等教育体系。它所取得的成就及其背后蕴含的科学发展理念值得推广和借鉴。As one of the most famous states with long-standing tradition of higher education, Massachu- setts is well-known for its private higher education, while its public higher education is concerned by lit- tle people and becomes a neglected university cluster. In fact, the public higher education system in Massachusetts has made great achievements in severing the development of economy and society in Mas- sachusetts due to its reasonable goal and self-position. Thus not only the private higher education but al- so the public higher education is the integral parts of the health higher education system in Massachu- setts. The concept of scientific development of the public higher education in Massachusetts is worthy of learning.
