摘 要:民国时期,乡村教师主要是源于旧知识分子的转化与新式学校的培养,他们承担教育新青年的重任,也在很大程度上肩负着影响四万万国人的理想。乡村教师的待遇不甚理想,并在乡土生活中遭遇诸多困境,如传统教育惯性的阻碍,乡里民众的排斥,旧知识人的抗拒等。但该群体在艰苦条件下体现的桑梓情殷、职业守望和家国情怀依旧令今人敬佩,这群小人物成就了大的格局也铸就了属于他们的时代特征。during the period of the Republic of China, rural teachers mainly come from the converted intellectuals and the cultivated educatees from new kind of schools. To a large degree, they undertake the great responsibility of educating new youth and cherish the ideal of influencing four hundred millions of Chinese people. However, this group of people haven' t received sound treatment and suffered many dilemmas in rural life, like the impediment of conventional practices in educa- tion, the rejection of rural people and the resistance of old day intellectuals. But all these are temporary. Especially under the hard conditions, they have reflected admiring sentiments for their country, their education and their homeland and these nobodies have forged a kind of magnificent bosom and also cast the time features which belong to their own.
