摘　　要："卓越计划"是中国教育部推出的旨在培养一大批创新能力强、适应经济社会发展需要的高质量工程技术人才的重大改革项目。南京工程学院作为首批入选卓越计划的高校,对应用型人才培养模式进行了大幅度的改革实践,通过制定契合经济社会发展需要的人才培养方案,改革基础课程和专业课程体系,实施项目教学和强化工程案例教学,与企业共建实践平台、共同兴办专业、共同开发课程、共同编写教材,强化校企联合培养,取得了较好的成效。The Project for Educating and Cultivating Outstanding Engineers （PECOE） is a maior reform project launched by Chinese Ministry of Education, with the aim to develop a large number of high-quality engineering and technical personnel who are innovative and adaptable to economic and social development needs. Nanjing Institute of Technology is one of the first universities engaged in PECOE. It has conducted a significant reform on cultivation mode of practical talents. Good results have been obtained by making personnel training programs, redesigning the basic courses and specialized curriculum system, implementing project teaching and enhancing the case-based engineering teaching, constructing practical platform, constructing engineering major, exploiting the core curriculum, compiling teaching material in cooperation with enterprises, and strengthening the school-enterprise cooperation.
