摘　　要：为了达成语言与多元识读等能力的培养目标,英语学习正突破过度依赖语言文字单一模态的藩篱,出现朝多模态化转向的趋势。研究表明:英语学习文本的多模态化、"网络一代"的学习特点和需求、认知灵活性理论和移动微学习方式等要素之间交相呼应,共同导致英语学习朝多模态转向的趋势。To achieve the goal of training the language and multi literacy ability, English learning is breaking through the barriers of an over-reliance on a single mode of language, and has a trend toward multimodal shift. Re- search shows that in English leaning there appear the interactions among such elements as the multimodal texts, the learning eharaeteristics and needs of ＂an online generation＂, the cognitive-flexibility theory and the mobile micro- learning methods, which result in the trend toward the multimodal shift in English learning.
