徐忠杰翻译风格的系统功能语法分析

摘　　要：徐忠杰的翻译注重解释性原则,从系统功能语法中的主述位关系、话题-说明的关系以及焦点等角度对其译作《虞美人》进行逐句分析可见,徐忠杰将原文中一些模糊的意象具体化,改变原文的一些句序,增加了必要的人称代词和衔接手段,使其符合译语的表达。归纳起来,徐忠杰的翻译风格之一就是将原文主旨的传译始终摆在首位,为此牺牲原文的形式美也在所不惜。The translation of poetry is always a sticky problem. The difficulty lies in how to deal with the distinctive sentence structure, the rhyme and rhythm as well as the poetic images set up on the basis of these features, etc. The paper attempts to make an analysis on the English version of one of the Chinese poems Yu Mei Ren translated by Xu Zhong jie in terms of Theme-Rheme, Topic-Comment and focus, etc. from the perspective of systemic grammar, aiming at having a look at how the translator deals with the different syntactic structures of Chinese and English, and also the relationship between the form and theme. The paper takes the initiative to introduce certain notions from systemic grammar into the interpretation of translated poems, which is also a new way in interpreting translators’ style.
