摘 要:图画书是一种运用独特表意媒介建构自身的艺术形式及儿童文学重要类别,表现意义是其存在根基。图画书表意媒介实质为一种运用图画、文字及书籍物质形态等可表意元素构造意象及意象聚合以表现多层次意义的整体化媒介体系。图画书表意媒介可以创造出图画书作品意象义、联想义、风格义、完形义四类基本意义。意象义表达事物概念及其存在形态;联想义是诉诸读者联想而产生的意义,意象的确定含义及意象之间的关系通过联想产生进而形成流动的意义之链;风格义为图画风格所形成及体现出的意义,图画书中图画的呈现风格能为作品提供特定的氛围和情绪,也能个性化地体现作者对事物的理解和观念;完形义为通过整合图画书作品各种表意因素而获得的整体意义,不同于各类意义,是一种内容简单相加的意义新整体。图画书表意媒介所达成的这四类基本意义体现了其对多层次丰富意义的构建能力,为图画书作为艺术形式与儿童文学类别的本体存在构筑了基石。The picturebook as an art form and important children's literature genre is created through the operation of a unique compound medium. Meaning representation is the basic foundation of the picturebook. The picturebook medium uses pictures, words and books material form as elements to create image and image-collection for multi-level meaning construction and representation. The nature of the pieturehook medium is an integrated media system. Four basic types of meaning in picturebook works can be created and conveyed by the picturebook medium, namely the image meaning, the associative meaning, the style meaning, and the gestalt meaning. The image meaning represents the concept and existence form of things. The associative meaning is created by association. The association creates certainty meaning of images and their relationship, and also creates a meaning flow. The style of pictures in picturebooks creates the picturebook style meaning. The representation style of pictures in picturebooks can provide specific atmosphere and mood, and also can reflect the authors ideas and understanding of things. The gestalt meaning is gained by integrating various factors of expres- sion in picturebook works as a whole that is different from a simple addition of various meaning contents. The four basic types of meaning created and conveyed by the picturebook medium manifest the medium's multi-level rich meaning construction potentiality, and lay a solid foundation for the picturebook's ontological existence as an art form and children's literature genre.
