摘　　要：根雕创作,是以选材为前奏的审美体验,是艺术创作心理过程。可以这样说,选材是根雕艺术家以自然形态为审美对象的审美心理过程,与真正的由＂艺术思维＂创作而成的＂艺术品＂,存在本质上的差距。根材——天然材质,源自大自然中新陈代谢产生的奇木异材。阴沉木、浪木、碳化木、树瘿、过火木等等,都可以被作为“根雕艺术”创作的载体。The creation of root carving art is a kind of aesthetic experience that based on the selection of materials,it is also a sort of psychological process in terms of artistic creation.The selection of materials is not decided by the natural beauty of the roots,it is related to the artists＇ personal aesthetic orientation and inner spiritual pursuit.The creation of root carving art is related to skillful techniques.The excellent artists usually focus on the cultivation of comprehensive qualities,they own the brillant aesthetic perception that in relation to the utlization and exploration of essence,expressive methods and inner structures of other art categories.
