摘　　要："勇"作为德性的一种道德力量,是人的一种卓越质量,有着丰富的内涵。"勇"的主要特征有不惧、审慎指导下的果敢、适度中道的原则,并且勇敢是其他美德得以运行的条件。在现代社会弘扬和发展"勇德"有着深刻的道德意义,培养"勇德"刻不容缓。Braveness as a moral strength of character is a kind of excellent quality. It has the rich connotation, not being afraid, prudent boldness, the principle of a moderate mean course are the main characteristics, and braveness is the basic condition of other virtues. Brave virtue in the modern society still has a profound moral significance.
