摘　　要：继续教育是指脱离正规教育之后面对成人所实施的高等教育,主要是对专业技术人员进行知识更新、补充、拓展和能力提高的一种追加性的高等教育。在继续教育迅速发展时期,提出了继续教育的一些概念性问题,简述了继续教育发展的历史,分析了继续教育发展中存在的问题,提出了解决这些问题的思想。Further education refers to the higher education for the adults after they departing the formal education, which is main- ly to update, complement, expand the knowledge and improve the ability of professionals. As the continuing education is developing fast, this paper put up some conceptual issues on continuing education, summarized the developing history of continuing education, an- alyzed the existing problems and put forward the countermeasures to solve the problems.
