国家安全视域下我国西部地区非英语外语语种教育发展

摘　　要：全球化背景下,从国家安全的角度来发展外语教育成为国家新时期外语战略的一个重要体现。我国西部地区非英语外语语种教育的发展具有得天独厚的地理环境与良好的社会条件,显现出重要的国家外语战略意义。其发展应该从国家安全的角度出发,在管理机构、语种规划、课程体系设置、师资配备等方面进行全面规划。Under the background of globalization nowadays,foreign language education is closely related to national security and surviv-al.Developing the education from the perspective of ensuring national security has mostly reflected China′s foreign language strategy in the new era.In China′s western regions,the education of non-English languages,owing much to unique natural environment and social conditions,takes on dramatic significance of the national foreign language strategy.The education of non-English foreign languages in the region,therefore,would be developed from the perspective of national security,and administrative agency,language variety planning, curriculum system and teaching staff are taken into consideration.
