摘 要:针对我国高校英语专业千校一面、同质化严重等问题,本文在研究我国不同时期高校英语专业核心课程变化及学者关于英语专业教育最新观点的基础上,总结了英语专业教学可以依托的学科内容,提出了凸显英语文学、语言学、区域国别研究等十种学科内容的组织模式及诸多变体。这些模式和变体有助于拓宽英语专业课程学科内容组织的思路,有助于改变英语专业教学内容同质化现象,有助于学生多元知识结构的构建及多元人才的培养,对我国高校英语专业特色课程体系的构建及英语专业特色的发展具有重要意义。The education of English majors is confronted with the homogeneity of its programs in mainland Chinese tertiary institutions. By reviewing the core courses for English majors in the history of education for English majors in China and analyzing the latest views of scholars on the education of English majors, this paper summarized the disciplinary contents which the education of English majors could be based on and proposes ten disciplinary content organization models and their varieties which highlighted English literature, linguistics, area/country studies or their different combinations. The models proposed are likely to broaden the understanding of disciplinary content organization, to overcome the homogeneity of the programs for English majors, and to cultivate graduates with different knowledge orientations and distinctive competences. The findings can be significant for the organization of programs for the education of English majors in different institutions which may stand out with distinctive curricula and distinctive features of English major education.
