摘　　要：高职院校教学、科研水平决定着学院办学质量和社会影响力,是学院实现内涵发展、强化社会职能、提高人才培养质量和促进教师自身发展的有效途径。当前高职院校科研工作普遍存在教师能力欠缺、认识偏差、观念陈旧、资金投入少、制度不完善、改革与创新滞后等问题,本文结合湖北工业职业技术学院科研工作及管理实际情况,探索了高职院校科研工作及管理的思路,冀以促进学院科研工作健康发展。Teaching and scientific research level of higher vocational colleges plays a decisive role in school＇ s education quality and social influence, and is also the effective way to realize connotation development, strengthen social function, improve quality and promote development of teachers themselves. There still exist problems in scientific research work of higher vocational colleges, such as teacher＇s incapacity, deviation of understanding, stereotyped concepts, insufficient capital investment, imperfect system, untimely reform and innovation, etc. this paper explores the practical idea of scientific research work in higher vocational colleges with a ease study of the current scientific research work and management of Hubei Industrial Polytechnic, to promote healthy development of such scientific research work.
