摘　　要：《蒙古巡游记》(Among the Mongols)是记录晚清蒙古地区的英籍游记,对研究蒙古文化具有较高的学术价值。本文从该典籍涉及的文化名词的特征入手,分析作者英译蒙古文化名词的策略与方法,试图揭示文化名词英译的一般规律,为蒙古族典籍外译研究提供有益借鉴。As a travelogue recording the life of Mongolia at the end of Qing Dynasty, Among the Mongols has a very high value on the scholarly research of Mongolian. The thesis analyzes the writer＇s translation techniques on the characteristics of Mongolian cultural-specific nouns concerned in this hook. The purpose of this thesis is to bring some insights into the regularity on the translation of cultural nouns and offers some references on further translation research.
