摘　　要：30年前,许国璋教授提醒我们:金岳霖教授从哲学的视角讨论翻译问题(尤其是"译意"和"译味"),值得我们注意。本文在系统功能语言学的框架中对这两个问题进行解读和解释,并把它们与系统功能语言学的经验功能和人际功能进行比较,分析其相似性。本文表明,韩礼德的语言学理论可以用于翻译问题的探讨,并能为翻译理论的建构带来启示。It is 30 years ago that Prof.Xu Guozhang reminded us of Prof.Jin Yuelin’s philosophical viewpoints on translation issues,especially yi yi(translating meaning)and yi wei(translating underlying meaning).This paper examines these two concepts within the framework of systemic functional linguistics and tries to interpret them by comparing them with Halliday’s experiential and interpersonal metafunctions and by focusing on their similarities.The paper indicates that Halliday’s systemic functional linguistics can be properly applied to translation studies and can give implications to modelling a linguist’s theory of translation.
