摘　　要：《最蓝的眼睛》是美国黑人女作家托尼·莫里森的处女作,讲述了主人公黑人小女孩佩科拉悲惨的命运以及白人文化霸权下众多黑人迷失身份走向毁灭的故事。故事的悲剧由一个黑人小女孩追求蓝眼睛而引发。本文从该作品的内涵进行研究,从"蓝眼睛"的象征意义入手来揭示作品的主题意蕴——黑人只有在本民族的文化传统的影响下才能在白人社会中获得生存。＂The Bluest Eye＂ is the first novel of African- American female writer Toni Morrison. The novel describes a story that a tragic black girl Pecola who lost her identity and many blacks lost identities of destruction under white cultural hegemony. The tragedy triggered due to a little black girl＇s pursuit of blue eyes. This paper studies the connotation of the work and also reveals the implication of theme from the symbol meaning of ＂The Bluest Eye＂. Blacks only survive in the white community under the influence of the nation＇s cultural traditions.
