摘　　要：英语写作中成语的使用常受汉语比喻的影响,比喻、联想、含义的对应关系不容忽视。谨慎使用口语体成语;灵活使用成语变化形式可使语言表达活泼有趣、生动传神。English idioms are often misused in writing due to a similar image employed in Chinese idioms. It's necessary to know how much correspondence there is between idioms of both languages in images,associations and connotations. Besides, the idioms of informal style should be used sparingly.The diversities of English idioms help to add life and beauty to your writings.
