摘　　要：美国手语作品创作以美国手语为工具形象地反映客观现实的艺术作品创作,形式多样。美国手语作品创作的整个早期阶段作品主要包括了聋人用书面英语创作的文学作品,从英语翻译成手语的戏剧作品以及世代相传的手语民间传说、故事等。但由于受到聋人教育曲折发展的影响,美国手语作品创作发展的环境在早期发生了曲折变化。以1880年意大利米兰会议为标志,大致分为1817年到1880年美国聋人教育的手语教学期,以及1880年到1957年美国聋人教育的口语教学期两个阶段。The American Sign Language works creation, as a tool for the American Sign Language, reflects the objective reality, which is the artistic creation, and has a variety of forms. American sign language works of the early stage work includes the use of literature creation of written English and translation from English into sign language drama and passing on from generation to generation of sign language folk legends and stories etc.. But due to the influence of the tortuous development of deaf education, American Sign Language works development environment in the early occurred inflection. In 1880 in Milan, Italy, the meeting, as a symbol, divided two periods： from 1817 to 1880 is regarded as American deaf education of sign language teaching period, and from 1880 to 1957 is regarded as American deaf education of spoken English teaching period.
