摘　　要：美国全国图书奖获得者查尔斯·约翰逊是当代美国文坛颇具创造力的作家。约翰逊的作品不单单拘泥于呈现美国黑人所遭受的种族歧视与压迫,通过亦真亦幻的方式来解构并重构现实,探寻黑人的内心生活。约翰逊的作品没有沿袭传统黑人形象的固有模式,更多展现了其自身的后现代写作特色。本文力求从后现代历史编撰元小说角度分析其代表作《中途》的叙事特征。Charles Johnson, the American National Book Prize winner, is a well-known creative writer. Johnson＇s novels do not focus too much on the description of discrimination and oppression the blacks suffer in American society, but aim to deconstruct and reconstruct the reality through imagination, displaying blacks＇ inner moods, nor do they follow the traditional invariable pattern of blacks＇ images; instead, Johnson＇s novels demonstrate the writing style of postmodernism. This paper tries to analyze the narrative features of Johnson＇s Middle Passage from the perspective of Historiographic Metafiction.
