摘　　要：不确定性是经典历史比较法的严重缺陷,可以用历史文献加以弥补。东亚许多民族语虽然缺乏历史文献,但是各个历史时期有丰富的汉语借词,通过对这些汉语借词的历史层次分析,可以起到历史文献的作用。The uncertainty is the one of serious limits in the Comparative Method and we may compensate for this limit by using historical documents. Although the minority languages in East Asia lack of historical documents, they have a large number of loanwords which borrowed from Chinese in different historical periods. The analysis of historical stratum of Chinese loanwords can replace the role of historical documents. In this paper I discuss some important issues in the analytical methodology of historical strata through examples of sound changes in Zaomin Mien.
