摘　　要：中国近代启蒙思想家严复借助西方"天赋人权"的理论,以资产阶级自由观、人权观为武器,对中国传统的女性观进行了全面而深刻的批判,从男女平权、国富民强、妇女解放等方面系统阐述了女子教育的重要性。严复的女子教育思想,不仅对中国近代妇女解放运动具有启蒙作用,而且也为中国女权运动的萌生与发展提供了重要的理论依据。Yen Fu,who is one of the well-known enlightment thinker in modern history of China,with help of the western theory of natural rights and the west bourgeois freedom and human rights view,criticized the Chinese traditional view of women thoroughly and deeply. Yen Fu also comprehensively expounded the importance of female education from the equality between men and women,the nation＇s prosperous and people＇s strong and powerful,women＇s liberation,and so on. Yen Fu＇s education idea of women has exerted great influence on Chinese women liberation,but also provided theoretical basis for the creation and development of Chinese feminist movement.
