摘　　要：近几年来,公示语的汉英翻译受到人们越来越多的关注,也取得了很多有价值的研究成果。但仔细分析就会发现,中国城市公示语的汉英翻译仍然存在很多的问题。以天津市公示语汉英翻译为例,分析公示语汉英翻译中所出现的误译问题,并将这些问题分为语言层面的问题和文化层面的问题,以目的论为指导,提出相应的对策来避免这些错误。In the past years,more and more attention has been paid to the Chinese-English translation of public signs.Studies have been carried out,which resulted in some valuable theoretical achievements and great improvement of the C-E translation of public signs.However,there are still a lot of problems unsolved.Taking the C-E translation of public signs in Tianjin as an example,the study analyzes the problems in the C-E translation of public signs and classifies the problems into linguistic problem and cultural problem.Then the Skopostheorie is used as the theoretical basis and some translation strategies are proposed to solve the problems.
