摘 要:近十年来,台湾通过"奖励大学教学卓越计划"推动大学追求教学卓越,各校成立了大学教师发展的专责机构,整合校内外资源、持续改进发展策略。研究发现,教师发展机构的建制完整性与学校资源水平和对教师发展的重视程度有关,教师发展成效与学校文化氛围有关,各校发展模式与其自身特色有关,教师整体素质的提升和强烈的持续进修理念是推动其发展的有利条件。In the last ten years, Taiwan Provincial Government has dedicated to propelling universities to pursue teaching excellence through a competitive program. This incentive program has had a profound impact on the faculty development. Most universities have established professional organizations to integrate resources and improve development strategies. We find that: the organizational integrity depends on adequate funding as well as enough attention and support from the leaders; the effectiveness of faculty development activities is related to the entire culture of the university; universities have developed different patterns with distinguishing features; the improvement of teachers' quality and their strong ideas on further study are beneficial for faculty development.
