A Study on Frontier Issues of Contemporary Western Philosophy

摘　　要：当代哲学主题日益呈现出民主化、生活化、实践化和碎片化的特征,这标志着当代西方哲学范式的转换。具体而言,当代哲学不再执着于终极性、整合性的形而上学思想,而是强调科学的重要性;从近代意识哲学向当代语言哲学范式转换,这意味着方法论的革命;理性精神不再停留或满足于逻辑推理的抽象层面,而是强调程序理性的重要性;以生命伦理学、政治哲学为代表的实践哲学兴起,成为当代哲学担当时代使命的集中体现。抛开学院化的逻辑-历史线索,仅着眼于与重大现实密切相关的领域来讨论当代西方哲学,它们应当包括科技革命与人性的冲突、合理社会制度的设计与难题、现代性的困境与出路等前沿问题。The major issues of contemporary philosophy have presented features showing democratic, life-oriented, practical and fragmented characteristics, which marks the shift of paradigm in contemporary western philosophy. Specifically, the contemporary philosophy is no longer obsessed with the ultimate and integrative metaphysical thoughts, but stresses the importance of science. The shift of paradigm from the modern consciousness-based philosophy to the contemporary phi- losophy based on language means a methodological revolution. The rational spirit no longer stays with or is content with the abstraction level of logical reasoning, but emphasizes the importance of procedural rationality. The rise of practical philosophy represented by bioethics and political philosophy has become the intensive embodiment of contemporary philosophical responsibilities. Setting aside the scholastic logic - historical clues, we can focus solely on the domains that are closely as- sociated with the major practical discuss to discuss contemporary western philosophy, which should include such frontier issues as the conflict between technological revolution and humanity, designing and tough issues in rational social system, and the predicament and solutions of modernity.
