摘　　要：作者认为冯纪忠先生提出与古为新理念及其与古为新的规划设计与建筑实践,是具有里程碑意义的历史贡献。文章从建筑文化领域的几个首创、与古为新理念、与古为新实例以及如何实现与古为新四个方面进行探讨。The author believes that Mr. Feng Jizhong＇s claim of joining the past to become the new and its planning and architecture practices has been a landmark and has a historical contribution. The article explores from the following four aspects： several initiations in architectural and cultural fields; new ideas of joining the past to become the new; practices of joining the past to become the new; and how to realize joining the past to become the new.
