从语用学的礼貌原则看英语中的委婉语

摘　　要：本文从Leech的六条礼貌原则角度对英语委婉语进行了分析,发现委婉语的使用就是一种间接语言行为,也是人们协调人际关系的一个重要手段。交际者使用这种间接迂回的表达方法,既有社会因素的限定,也可以从礼貌的角度加以解释。From the perspective of the Leech ’s Politeness Principle ,this paper makes a tentative analysis of English euphemism ,finding that the euphemism in English is an indirect behavior of expression and an important way of coordinating personal relationship .The reason why people use euphemism is both attributed to some social factors and politeness .
