Personification:Strategy for Chinese Culture to Go Global

摘  要:Chinese culture should "go global" through personification. The Chinese culture here refers to not only the Chinese art, but in a broader sense the national culture of the whole countD: Foreigners are familiar with traditional Chinese culture, the Confucianism, and the theory of Lao-tzu, because these cultural forms are personified. The hundreds of schools during the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period were also personified by typical figures. Prof. Zhang Huoding is the personification of Peking Opera. When we stressed the importance of soft power, China Performing Arts Agency (CPAA), with their decades of experience and professional publicity and operation, bad already created the personification of Chinese culture, Zhang Huoding. The personification of culture has become an integral part of China's soft power.
