摘　　要：从人的认知角度对委婉语进行阐释,运用原型范畴理论对英语委婉语实例进行分析,以此了解委婉语的变化发展过程,探讨其认知理据,从而加深人们对委婉语本质的认识。It attempted to interpret the language phenomenon from a new perspective of human cognition in this paper, through illustrating various concrete euphemisms, analyzing their developments and exploring the cognitive motivations of euphemisms. The purpose is to deepen the understanding of the language phenomenon and its nature.
