英语新闻在大学英语课堂中的应用

摘　　要：滞后的大学英语教材及呆板的大学英语课堂是造成学生“哑巴英语”现象的主要原因之一，为提高学生英语学习的积极性、增强学生表达能力，在大学英语课堂教学中可运用文字、视频及音频英语新闻作为教学材料激发学生学习兴趣，并针对综合课和听说课分别设计、有的放矢，提升学生的英语综合应用能力。The phenomenon of college students＇ dumb English is mainly caused by the limitation of college English textbooks and stereotyped college English class, In order to motivate students to learn English and enhance their ability of English expression, all sort of English news can be served as teaching materials in college English class, and they would be designed and applied separately on the integrated English class and listening ＆ speaking English class to enhance students＇ comprehensive ability in applying English.
