摘 要:融融与其他华人作家写作的立场与视野略有不同,她的"一代飞鸿"意象有着创造性,她的自然观、生命观焕发出新意,对"文化震撼"的描述更加深刻,写出了"脱胎换骨"、"落地植根"过程的艰苦卓绝与灵魂放逐。她提出了以下问题:一,看待异国文化,"平视"还是"敌视","对抗"还是"交流"?把留学移民者定位为"一代飞鸿",还是"无序飘零"?二,是仅仅"师夷长技以制夷",还是从人类大同的立场出发拥抱异族文化?融融认为,华人作家应具有文化"重构"的自觉,在写作中体现出生命的"个性"与"融合";华文文学只有吸收了外来的酵素,才能变幻出"新态"。Rong Rong has a position and vision different from those of other Chinese writers overseas. Her‘Generation of Wild Geese'is innovative, and her views of Nature and life are new as they describe‘Culture Shock'in more depth, giving expression to the exilic hardship of the‘bone-changing'process in which‘one takes roots wherever one is'. She proposes the following questions, one of which is how one should look at alien cultures: a horizontal way of looking, a hostile way of looking,a confrontational way of looking or a way of looking that involves exchange, and whether migrants who study should be regarded as belonging to the‘Generation of Geese'or people who‘drift without pattern', and the other is whether‘one should conquer the alien Other by using its skills' or one should embrace the alien cultures by taking the humanist position of Great Harmony.In Rong Rong's opinion, Chinese writers overseas ought to cultivate a sense of cultural‘re-construction'by presenting the‘individuality'of life and‘integration'in their writings. Only by absorbing the yeast from a foreign source can Chinese literatures overseas generate‘new varieties'.
