摘　　要：随着科学技术水平的提高，人们对于学生的教育也越来越重视，特别是如今经济全球化脚步的加快，国际化已经是目前中国发展的趋势，因此英语也成为了我们学习的第二语言。《21世纪报》作为一份适宜高中生学习英语的社会英语资源，对于提高学生英语阅读能力有着不可替代的作用。With the improvement of scientific and technological level, people pay more and more attention to the education of students, especially with the accelerating pace of economic globalization today, internationalization has already been the development trend of China, so English has become the second language to learn. ＂21st Century＂ as an appropriate social English resource for high school students to learn English has played an irreplaceable role in improving students＇ English reading ability.
