摘　　要：程守洙、江之永主编的《普通物理学》是我国工科物理最早教材之一,为框定我国高等学校大学物理课程的教学内容起到了奠基性的作用.本着继承与发展,与时俱进,精益求精的精神,半个多世纪以来已有多次修订改编,本文简要介绍新版(第7版)在追求论述严谨、联系实际、优化插图、追踪前沿、培养创新意识以及教材建设与信息技术相结合等方面所做的主要工作.General physics compiled by Cheng Shuozhu and Jiang Zhiyong is one of the earliest textbook of physics for science and engineering, which has played a fundamental role in the teaching of college physics course in colleges and universities. With inheritance and development, advancing with the times, and the spirit of excellence, this book has been repeatedly revised for more than half a century. In this paper, we briefly introduces the new version （seventh edition） which has been revised for more rigorous exposition, closer to practice, optimizing the illustrations, front tracking, and combining information technology with teaching material. In this way, it is helpful for fostering students＇ innovation consciousness.
