形合意合与英汉句法结构的翻译方法

摘　　要：英汉两种语言所处文化不同,使用者的思维方式不同,因而英汉两种语言句法构成不同。在对英汉句法各自形合意合的特征进行简单的探讨后,本文基于句法构成特征总结在英汉互译时要注意形合意合的相互转换以及应适当采取增减译法,以符合英语的语法结构和表达习惯。There is a difference between English and Chinese in the syntactic structure. The different culture and the way of thinking is the main reason for that. This paper simply states the syntactic structure's feature of English and Chinese. English language emphases on hypotactic, however, Chinese focus on paratactic. Giving the different feature of syntactic form, in English—Chinese translation, we should pay attention to the conversion of hypotactic and paratactic. As the same time, we should use amplification and omission properly in translation.
