摘　　要：加拿大华裔作家李彦在创作了处女作英文小说Daughters of the Redland 15年后,又采用自译的方式在英文版的基础上创作了中文版小说《红浮萍》。这是一部带有自传性质的心灵史和成长史,也是一部展示苦难和沧桑的历史小说,更是一部突出家族母系伦理言说的家族小说。小说通过客观冷静的叙述呈现出主人公"我"的外婆、"我"的母亲雯和"我"的生命轨迹,采用内倾的视角探索和挖掘从外婆到母亲、从母亲到"我"之间传承和维系家族亲情的源自母系的神秘力量。Daughters of the Redland is the first English novel of Li Yan, a Chinese Canadian writer. 15 years later, the author adopted and translated it into the Chinese novel Red Duckweed. It is not only a novel of mind growth, but also a historical novel full of hardships and vicissitudes. Moreover, it is a family novel which highlights the ethical narration of the maternal family.
