摘　　要：介绍了麻省理工学院(Massachusetts Institute of Technology,MIT)总体情况及发展历程,重点分析了MIT始终坚持需求与创新结合、理论与实践结合、通识与专业结合的教育理念,并针对生物医学工程的专业特色,得到了建立更加严格的淘汰机制,强化通过科研实践有效学习的机制,孵化实用技术、培养创业能力等启示,为我国培养生物医学工程专业人才提供参考、借鉴。After introducing the general information and developing history of Massachusetts Institute of Technology （MIT）, the education of faiths of MIT were mainly analyzed, including always insisting on the combination of demands and innovations, the combination of theory and practices and the combination of both teaching common knowledge and professional techniques. Then according to the discipline features of biomedical engineering, the revelation from education faiths of MIT was discussed.
