英语教育学的学科界定及其学位制度建设的可行性研究

摘　　要：英语教育专业是专业化教师教育的学科依托,但是绝大部分英语教师获得的本科及以上学位不是"英语教育",而是"外国语言学及应用语言学"、"外国文学"、"英语语言文学"或其它专业的学位。对英语教育学认识不清严重影响了英语教师教育的专业化发展。为此,本文首先澄清了英语教育学的定义、学科属性及其与学科教育和英语教师教育等其它学科的关系,然后阐述了尽快在我国高校建立英语教育学博士、硕士、学士系列学位制度的必要性和可行性。English Educology is the program on which professional teacher education should be based. However, most of the English teachers in China are conferred higher education degrees in ＂Foreign Linguistics and Applied Linguistics＂ , ＂Foreign Literature＂ , ＂English Language and Literature＂ or other majors upon graduation but not the major of English Educology. The vague understanding of English Educology has greatly hampered the progress of the teachers＇ professional education. The paper clarifies the concept of English Educology, its nature and its relationships with other connected disciplines. Furthermore, this paper analyzes the necessities and feasibilities of establishing as quickly as possible a serial degree system in English Educology in the universities in China.
