浅析大学公外学生英语翻译过程中存在的问题和建议

摘　　要：大学公外学生英语翻译中存在的主要问题是英语基础差、知识面狭窄等,导致译文难以表达出原意,翻译死板、生硬、牵强,难以体现出英语语言的情感和文化,英语翻译缺乏语言的美感。针对学生英语翻译中的这些问题,单纯的分析其影响因素是不够的,必须在学生翻译影响因素分析的基础上制定有效的解决策略,才是提高学生英语翻译水平的科学途径。Common problems in the translations of non-English majors include a poor foundation, lack of profound and comprehensive knowledge, etc., making the version difficult to deliver the original meaning of the source text. Their translations tend to be rigid, stiff, far-fetched and cannot reflect the emotions and cultures in English, causing certain lack of beauty in this language. Simple analyses of the influencing factors aren ＇t enough for solving these problems. Effective strategies have to be established based on the analyses of those factors influencing students＇ translations, which is a scientific approach to enhancing their translating abilities.
